Mechanical Engineer Food Manufacturing

Join Gafoor's team as a Mechanical Engineer and play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing processing machinery to ensure minimal downtime and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to maintain and service processing machinery.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, fault finding, and deal with machine downtime efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Manufacturing Managers to ensure smooth operations.
- Support and mentor engineering students and apprentice engineers.
- Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- HNC, HND, or degree qualified or apprentice with time-served experience in a similar food manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
