Mechanical Engineer Food Manufacturing

Join Gafoor's team as a Mechanical Engineer and contribute to the success of our food manufacturing operations. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing processing machinery to ensure minimal downtime and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and service processing machinery to ensure minimal downtime and efficient production.
- Perform preventative maintenance, fault finding, and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
- Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless production operations.
- Support and mentor engineering students and apprentice engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the engineering manager and manufacturing managers to drive process improvements and optimize production efficiency.
Requirements:
- Fluent English language skills (verbal and written).
- HNC, HND, or degree qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Time-served experience in a similar food manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
