Java Software Engineer for E-Trading Platform

McGregor Boyall, a leading player in the FX Banking sector, is seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our E-Trading platform, you will work closely with trading, front office, and research teams to develop and maintain low latency pricing and connectivity systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills, including experience with multi-threading, and a background in E-Trading or high-performance/low-latency development. You will be responsible for working on FX and forward pricing engines, as well as introducing the latest low latency technology and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance Java applications for E-Trading systems
  • Collaborate with trading, front office, and research teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest low latency technology and architecture
  • Work closely with traders to understand their needs and develop solutions

Requirements:

  • Strong Java development skills, including experience with multi-threading
  • Experience in E-Trading or high-performance/low-latency development
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
