Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at VEA Telecoms Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse and stores.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Processing Goods: Unload deliveries, inspect materials, and accurately document and record incoming goods.
- Storage Management: Organize and store materials and equipment in designated areas, ensuring proper storage to prevent damage and facilitate easy retrieval.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock checks, maintain accurate inventory records, and use inventory management systems to update stock levels and track inventory movements.
- Order Fulfilment: Pick and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and efficiently, ensuring materials are properly labelled and packaged for delivery.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, operate yard equipment safely, and report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
- Maintenance and Housekeeping: Regularly inspect yard equipment, perform basic maintenance tasks, and keep the yard clean and free of debris.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all yard activities, generate reports on inventory levels, and communicate effectively with other departments.
- Experience: Previous experience in a yard or storesman role is preferred, with experience with inventory management systems.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, good communication skills, and basic computer skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move heavy items, prolonged periods of standing and walking, and working in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Work Hours: Typically full-time, with possible shifts or overtime depending on business needs.
Range: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
