Principal Biostatistician Opportunity at Luminary Group

Luminary Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Principal Biostatistician to contribute to the advancement of healthcare and evidence-based medicine. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing statistical support and expertise for research studies and clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement statistical methodologies for research studies and clinical trials, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and validity of statistical analyses and results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, interpret, and report study data, contributing to the development of study protocols and statistical analysis plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in biostatistical methods and techniques, applying this knowledge to support the integration of statistical analyses within the research process.
  • Contribute to the development and review of research proposals, manuscripts, and presentations, effectively communicating statistical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with researchers and clinicians to develop study protocols and statistical analysis plans, ensuring the successful execution of research studies and clinical trials.
Requirements:
  • Master's or PhD in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field, with a strong foundation in statistical methodologies and techniques.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a biostatistician in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality statistical analyses and results.
  • Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate statistical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
