Civil Engineering Stakeholder Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Stakeholder and Social Value Coordinator to join our team at Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd.
About the Role:
The Stakeholder and Social Value Coordinator will play a key role in establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including local communities, government bodies, and other relevant organizations. You will work closely with our tender and operations teams to ensure the integration of social value initiatives into our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Identify and map key stakeholders, including local communities, government bodies, and other relevant organizations.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder communication plans to ensure timely and effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, consultations, and public engagement sessions.
- Social Value Integration:
- Collaborate with tender, head office, and operations teams to incorporate social value considerations into project bids and execution plans.
- Develop and implement social value strategies that align with company goals and client expectations.
- Monitor and report on social value outcomes, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and standards.
- Identify opportunities to enhance social value through local employment, skills development, community investment, and environmental sustainability initiatives and make proposals to the relevant internal teams.
Tender Support:
- Provide input on stakeholder engagement and social value for tender submissions, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Assist in developing innovative social value proposals.
Project Operations:
- Support the operations team in delivering social value commitments during project execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the effective delivery of social value initiatives.
- Assist and track social value achievements, ensuring accurate reporting to clients and stakeholders.
Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on stakeholder engagement activities and social value outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and client requirements related to social value and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
- A background in civil engineering or project management is advantageous.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in stakeholder management, social value coordination, or community engagement, preferably within the construction or civil engineering sector.
- Experience in preparing and delivering social value proposals for tender submissions is highly desirable.
