We are working with a leading electronics engineering business in the industry who are looking to appoint a Project Manager to lead complex R&D projects across various sectors.

The appointed individual needs to be commercially savvy to ensure bottom-line profitability, have excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external teams, deliver outstanding customer service, and ideally possess a recognized project management qualification.

Our client is a well-established business going through a significant growth period, seeking passionate professionals to join their team.

We are searching for someone with knowledge of electronics (this could be in the form of a qualification, experience as an electronic engineer, or managing electronic design teams as a PM), experience in a projects-focused role, and knowledge of R&D processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the project management of multiple product development programs in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  2. Develop and negotiate detailed, realistic project schedules and drive projects to completion.
  3. Monitor project budgets from a labor and material standpoint.
  4. Troubleshoot engineering or supply chain issues in real-time, identifying when additional support, resources, or budget may be required to keep projects on track.
  5. Construct and monitor project risk registers, identifying mitigation strategies by collaborating with the engineering team.
Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of project management systems (Prince2 would be advantageous).
