Electrical Installation Manager Job Description

Bridges Electrical Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations across various projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
  • Ensure all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans.
  • Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
  • Coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates, and Apprentices.
Requirements:
  • SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)
  • Experience within an industrial environment, ideally within the water/waste water industry.
  • Experience supervising a small team on simple installations.
  • Willingness to learn and undertake occupational training.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to write simple risk assessments.
