Role Description:

This SEN Learning Support Assistant role involves working with Primary and Secondary-aged pupils in Kent to create an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support students with reading, writing, and other academic activities.
  2. Assist teachers with lesson preparation and setup.
  3. Encourage students' emotional and educational development.
  4. Help teachers mark and correct student work.
  5. Contribute to school trips and activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • GCSE level qualifications in maths and English.
  • Background check via the DBS.
  • Experience working with individuals with special educational needs (beneficial).
  • Understanding of SEN support strategies and knowledge of different learning disabilities.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the education of students with special needs in Kent.

Salary Details:

The estimated salary for this role is £23,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
