Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Investigation Specialist to join our team in Witney, UK. As a key member of the Complaints Investigation Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality and reliability of our medical devices.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into product complaints, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent similar failures in the future. This will involve troubleshooting using various electronics equipment and software applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to monitor product trends and identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot complaint returns to determine root causes of failures using schematic diagrams and equipment such as soldering irons, drill presses, microscopes, oscilloscopes, and other tools.
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of processing and documentation of activities carried out.
  • Translate engineering investigation methodologies into procedures executable by the Complaint Handling Group and qualify new procedures/equipment as necessary.
  • Monitor product trends, link this to customer observations, and investigate to root cause.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess apprentice training in electronic/electrical engineering or a degree qualification in an electronic/electrical engineering field with proven industry-based application of knowledge. Experience working in Quality Assurance within a regulated environment is preferred, as is exposure to nano-technology troubleshooting and fault-finding environments.
