Cloud Engineering Team Lead

ERSG Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a new event-based architecture for integration and reporting within our clients Energy Trading business.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver a backlog of items as part of a DevOps team.
- Design the overall solution, including data highway, support/monitoring, producer adapters, and consumer adapters.
- Build high-quality software that complies with coding standards.
- Oversee development work and peer review.
- Accountable for operational activities within the team.
- Set standards and practices for the event hub and consumer/producer event-based nodes/adapters.
- Provide support and mentorship to other team members.
- 5+ years of experience in the Energy industry, particularly in GB Gas and Power.
- 5+ years of experience leading integration design using Azure Events Hubs and Kafka.
- 5+ years of experience developing general solutions in the Energy industry.
- 5+ years of experience developing integration solutions.
- Proficiency in C#.NET 7, Entity Framework, Microsoft ADO, SQL Server, Oracle DB, containers, event-driven architecture, Kafka, Event Hubs, DevOps, CI/CD, Terraform, and Automated Tests.
- Good knowledge of.NET 8, ASP.NET Blazor, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Open Telemetry, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
