Job Description

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician at CanDo Laundry Services Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery. Your primary responsibility will be to perform regular maintenance tasks, identify and fix technical issues, and implement measures to prevent equipment breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain our production machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or technical problems with our equipment, collaborating with external vendors as needed.
  • Problem Prevention: Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and develop strategies to prevent similar issues in the future.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including repairs and replacements.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest upgrades and improvements to boost machine performance and productivity.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines while working and regularly inspect machines to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or motor vehicle environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, with a preference for those with electrical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong focus on safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Relevant industry qualifications are a plus (e.g., NVQ, C&G, 18th Edition).
