Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Yolk Recruitment is partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturer in Port Talbot to fill an Electrical Maintenance Engineer position. This role is part of the company's Automated Manufacturing team, which is at the forefront of innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work a continental Panama shift pattern to provide electrical and mechanical support and knowledge on all production lines.
  • Utilize electrical fault-finding techniques to test and repair production machinery.
  • PLC fault finding and modification using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
  • Develop and implement effective planned preventative maintenance schedules to ensure maximum machine availability at minimum cost.
  • Collaborate with other plant engineers and team leaders to prioritize tasks and achieve maintenance goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to the planning, controlling, and overseeing of daily routines and inspections.
  • Implement a Total Quality Approach across the site.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a HNC qualification in an engineering field.
  • 2 years' experience in hands-on maintenance in an FMCG production environment.
  • Knowledge of Siemens/Allen Bradley control systems and ability to diagnose faults.
