Job Summary

As an Asset Planning Engineer at Affinity Water, you will play a critical role in driving robust investment planning to ensure projects meet business needs and deliver set out benefits. You will work closely with the Asset Strategy and Capital Delivery Directorate to develop best value and sustainable investments for Infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage infrastructure risks and work with operational and delivery teams to ensure project success.
  • Develop and support investment project proposals and business cases, driven by data and optimizing performance, risks, and cost.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure Asset Planning team to develop best value and sustainable investments for Infrastructure assets.
Requirements
  • High level of competency in data capture, managing, and analysis.
  • Advanced MS Office skills and experience using Microsoft Visio.
  • Good knowledge of water network functionality.
  • Clean driving license.
  • Accuracy of work and ability to follow process.
  • Data analysis skills and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Health and safety focus.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Qualifications suitable for route to chartership, e.g., CIWEM, ICE, or IoW (desirable).
