Job Description:

Maintenance Engineer Role at Hunter Selection

Location: Swansea

Estimated Salary: £42,000 per annum + Excellent benefits package

This role is focused on supporting the smooth operation of our facility by ensuring prompt resolution of breakdowns and delivering high-quality maintenance services.

The successful candidate will also drive site improvements in terms of new equipment, quality, and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all maintenance across the factory floor efficiently.
  • Rapidly respond to breakdowns onsite to minimize downtime and ensure plant equipment operates optimally.
  • Work in a clean and organized manner, adhering to our Hygiene Code of Practice.
  • E nsure all Health and Safety standards are met, and that equipment complies with Company and legal requirements.
  • Perform repairs to plant and equipment during production, utilizing effective time management.
  • Conduct planned maintenance (PPM) activities while adopting a proactive approach to ensure maximum output.

Requirements:

  • Possess formal engineering qualifications up to NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical or mechanical subjects.
  • Hold 17th or 18th Edition Certification.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards fault finding, continuous improvement, and personal development.
  • Apply a team-oriented approach to addressing engineering challenges.
  • Show ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills (written and verbal).
