About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grounds Waste Cleaning Operative to join our team at ABM UK. As a Grounds Waste Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various outdoor areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and dispose of waste in designated outdoor areas, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Keep outdoor areas clean and free from debris, performing routine maintenance tasks such as litter picking and sweeping.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any safety hazards, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective waste management processes, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Maintain accurate records of waste collection and disposal activities, providing valuable insights for process improvement.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in grounds waste cleaning or a similar role is preferred, with a strong understanding of waste management regulations and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and physical fitness to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in all weather conditions and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends or outside regular business hours if required, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
