The Chief Engineer role:

  • As a strong leader, you'll manage a team of engineers, works staff, and subcontractors to deliver projects to the highest safety and performance standards.
  • You'll monitor the programme, identifying potential risks and opportunities in design, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Temporary Works proposals development and implementation are key aspects of this role.
  • You'll develop and maintain excellent relationships with the client team.

Your profile:

  • Strong leadership skills are essential for this role.
  • You'll work collaboratively with good team working skills.
  • Experience in delivering multi-million pound nuclear projects or projects in similarly regulated environments is required.
  • Reinforced concrete construction experience is necessary.
  • You'll have good knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
