Job Title: Associate / Project Director (Healthcare) - Real Estate

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate/Project Director to join our growing Healthcare team in our Birmingham office. Our healthcare team is expanding nationwide, delivering nationally significant transformative projects and programmes, including the International Children's Eye Centre at Moorfields, Alder Hey in the Park Children's Hospital-Acute, and Leeds Children's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a cost management team on new and exciting, major healthcare projects and nationally significant programmes.
  • Collaborate with clients and design teams to forge and maintain strong relationships.
  • Set the standard for quality and manage performance across project delivery.
  • Coach and mentor the team, fostering a learning environment where best practice and lessons learned are actively shared.
  • Understand and interpret the market for our clients, anticipating challenges and collaborating to develop innovative solutions.
  • Utilize our bespoke tools and apps, powered by The Hive, to optimize cost performance at every stage of projects.
  • Analyze and test budgets using our Benchmarking app, which leverages a reliable pool of national data.
  • Inform our clients of future cost trends by harnessing the analytical capabilities of our Hive digital applications.
  • Advise clients on procurement and contract strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Degree or HNC level qualification.
  • Professionally qualified (RICS or similar).
  • Leadership experience within the property and real estate sector, ideally Healthcare and/or Life Sciences.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle.
