Location: Dawlish

Salary: Between £20,204 and £21,188 per annum, based on a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week, during term time (39.6 weeks per year)

Contract Type: Permanent

Every individual is entitled to quality education. As an Educational Support Facilitator, you will engage with young adults (aged 16+) who are navigating challenges associated with Autism, ADHD, and other learning differences that affect their academic experience.

At Phoenix Learning & Care Group, our mission transcends conventional educational metrics. Your responsibilities will encompass aiding in the development of life skills, educational programs, vocational experiences, as well as enhancing competencies in Mathematics and English, alongside other enriching activities tailored for the learners.

With intimate class sizes of 5 to 7 participants, you will have the chance to forge meaningful relationships with those you assist.

A typical day for an Educational Support Facilitator includes:

  • Supporting instructional staff in all educational activities, including planning, teaching, and evaluating student progress.
  • Collaborating closely with students to maintain their engagement and motivation, helping them to realize their full potential.
  • Providing individualized or small group assistance to facilitate learners in achieving their objectives.

To thrive as an Educational Support Facilitator, you will need:

  • Patience, empathy, and resilience to effectively support learners with Autism and ADHD.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A valid driving license to accompany learners on educational excursions.
  • A sincere passion for educating individuals with Autism and other neurodiverse conditions.
