Support and Mentor Young People in Policing

We are seeking a voluntary Cadet Leader to work with our cadets as they begin their journey into policing. As a Cadet Leader, you will provide support and coaching in areas such as police procedure and criminal law, crime prevention, and team building activities.

Working closely with the cadets and cadet team, you will be a vital member of the team providing insight into the many and varied aspects of policing. You will help make our cadets aware of the role of the police in the community and develop their character.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working with volunteers, young people, or youth groups. Good organisational skills and the ability to motivate a team of young people to achieve a set objective are key.

Any previous experience or qualifications in areas such as First Aid, sports, mountaineering, or outdoor pursuits would be great but not essential. If you think you can volunteer for 4 hours per week and help us provide vital support and mentoring to our cadets, please read more on the job description.

As a Police Support Volunteer, you'll be making a real contribution to the success of the organisation by bringing communities into policing and policing into communities. Using your spare time to do something worthwhile and that really makes a difference.
