Job Title: Drinking Water Safety Plan Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drinking Water Safety Plan Coordinator to join our team at Yorkshire Water. As a key member of our Service Delivery business unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our customers while protecting the environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the Drinking Water Safety Plan (DWSP) programme, including the implementation of DWSP risk reviews and the management of water quality and regulatory risks. You will also be responsible for carrying out work on data systems to record and analyze risks, and contributing to the delivery of the company's vision and performance commitment of zero failures in the eyes of our customers and 100% compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the DWSP programme, including the implementation of DWSP risk reviews and the management of water quality and regulatory risks.
  • Carry out work on data systems to record and analyze risks.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the company's vision and performance commitment of zero failures in the eyes of our customers and 100% compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work as a key member of the DWSP and WQ Compliance team to ensure effective use of resources and the successful achievement of team priorities.
  • Provide support to information provision to key stakeholders, including the DWI and NAVs.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience of water quality, including the regulations, particularly those relevant to data and customer contact issues.
  • Scientific or engineering-related degree.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Rigorous attention to detail to ensure 'right first time' performance.
  • Proficient in the use of IT, particularly for analysis of complex datasets.
  • Proven effective organizational skills.
