About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Drinking Water Safety Plan Coordinator at Yorkshire Water. As a key member of our Service Delivery business unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our customers while protecting the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the implementation of Drinking Water Safety Planning, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Conduct regular risk reviews and provide analysis of water quality risks to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and customers.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on water quality and regulatory matters, ensuring that the company's vision and performance commitments are met.
Requirements
  • Scientific or engineering-related degree and relevant experience in the water or wastewater sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems, including data analysis and reporting tools.
