Job Title: Project QS Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project QS Specialist to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing cost management expertise to our clients across various sectors, including Defence, Real Estate, and Infrastructure.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a security-cleared Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to join our busy and expanding London office. You will work closely with our clients to deliver projects and programmes, providing cost advice and management services.

As a Project QS Specialist, you will handle commissions of varying sizes, depending on the complexity of the project. You will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplined programme team environment, using your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cost management expertise to clients across various sectors
  • Work closely with clients to deliver projects and programmes
  • Handle commissions of varying sizes, depending on project complexity
  • Collaborate with programme teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Use NEC contract knowledge and experience, particularly Option C
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Security Cleared
  • Degree qualified and MRICS qualified (or working towards)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Inquisitive and problem-solving skill base
  • NEC contract knowledge and experience, particularly Option C
  • Demonstrable cost management experience working at a consultancy
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
  • Proven experience preferably in a similar role
