Job Title: Project QS Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project QS Specialist to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing cost management expertise to our clients across various sectors, including Defence, Real Estate, and Infrastructure.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a security-cleared Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to join our busy and expanding London office. You will work closely with our clients to deliver projects and programmes, providing cost advice and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

As a Project QS Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small-scale renovations to large-scale infrastructure developments. You will be responsible for managing budgets, forecasting costs, and providing cost advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cost management expertise to clients across various sectors
  • Manage budgets and forecast costs for projects
  • Provide cost advice to clients and stakeholders
  • Work closely with clients to deliver projects and programmes
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
  • Security clearance
  • Degree-qualified and MRICS-qualified (or working towards)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Inquisitive and problem-solving skill base
  • NEC contract knowledge and experience, particularly Option C
  • Demonstrable cost management experience working at a consultancy
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
  • Proven experience preferably in a similar role
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplined programme team environment
