We are seeking an experienced Aging and Disability Service Coordinator to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a key member of our Office of Aging and Disability Services, you will provide professional social work services to eligible adults in Lewiston.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,960 based on 40 hours per week at $25.65 per hour. This includes a $3.00/hour stipend available with a relevant Master's Degree.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Social Work/Social Welfare; OR a Bachelor's Degree in a related social service/social welfare/social work area. At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is also required.

This role involves performing professional social work for eligible adults, including coordination of services and case management activities. The caseworker will participate in care planning, plan writing, and extensive documentation. Monitoring community-based Medicaid Waiver programs and documenting progress and outcomes are also essential duties.

Health Insurance Coverage is provided by the State of Maine, with the employer paying 85%-95% of employee-only premiums. Dental Insurance is also covered, with the employer paying 100% of employee-only dental premiums. A retirement plan is offered, with the employer contributing the equivalent of 13.29% of the employee's pay towards the Maine Public Employees Retirement System.
