The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Administrator to support our client's production team in Cramlington. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the purchasing team with procurement activities and communicate effectively with suppliers.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and update the skills and training matrix.
  • Participate in office meetings and take accurate meeting minutes.
  • Use data sources to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely completion of new engineering orders (NEOs) and engineering change orders (ECOs).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cleat costs.
  • Support costing inquiries and work closely with the technical department.

The Person

We are looking for an individual with excellent administration skills, including attention to detail, and experience in a busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent IT skills, be proactive, and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work as part of a team is essential.
