Data Scientist III, Product Analytics Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist III, Product Analytics Expert to join our global Product Analytics and Experimentation team at Expedia Group. As a key member of our team, you will partner with our Product and wider Analytics teams to understand performance of our products, identify new success measures, automate elements of our reporting, and use advanced analytics methods to drive new test hypotheses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain advanced analytics models to drive business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions
  • Design and implement data visualization tools to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform data science strategy

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, engineering, operations research, data science, or similar
  • 4+ years of experience in industry or equivalent
  • Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong background in machine learning and statistical modeling
  • Experience with large datasets and proficient in SQL and another programming language (e.g. R, Python)
