Dementia Specialist Nurse

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dementia Specialist Nurse to join our team at Langworth Ward. As a clinical leader, you will be responsible for providing care for people with severe BPSD and mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services that work within the policies, protocols, and clinical procedures of Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a user-focused, accessible, and responsive acute nursing service.
- Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care for those experiencing BPSD and mental health needs.
- Provide management supervision to junior staff.
- Take on a champion role of a special interest and lead on improvements on the ward.

Person Specification
Essential
- RMN or RNLD or RN: 1st Level Registration (NMC) or degree or equivalent
- Mentorship Module (degree level)
- Evidence of specialized continued professional training (degree level) in clinical practice
