Quantity Surveyor Professional

At Mech Electrics Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Oldham. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a challenging role, overseeing the installation of electrical and mechanical building services in data centre environments.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in cost management, with experience in conducting thorough cost analyses and providing accurate estimates for construction projects. They will also be responsible for managing and monitoring project budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial guidelines.
We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension contributions, and generous holiday allowances. A company car or car allowance will also be provided.
A typical day for this role involves collaborating with project teams to assess and mitigate potential risks related to cost and contracts. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field and proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes is essential, with NEC and JCT contract experience advantageous.
