We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Next. As a key member of our distribution centre management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that we maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage site progress, order demand, resource, and cost to deliver the best service for customers in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible.
- Liaise with operational managers, maintenance, and systems teams to ensure the site is operating to its full potential.
- Lead by example, driving front-line managers to perform to the highest standards and support their coaching and development needs.
- Work closely with your team to understand their triggers and motivations, inspiring them to be the best they can be and recognizing their potential.
- Set achievable seasonal targets for your division, ensuring a safe working environment and high-quality standards.
- Identify and drive continuous improvements to meet our ambitious plans for the future of Next Distribution.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role, with extensive operational knowledge and a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a keen eye for detail and a competency working with numbers and spreadsheets.
