Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at MBDA. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of mechanical solutions for complex weapons and weapon systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of mechanical solutions from concept to production and in-service support
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in mechanical design and development
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • British citizenship or dual UK nationality

Security Clearance:

Dynamic (hybrid) working arrangement, with 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
