Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeper to join our Residential Care Team at CareTech Group. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our care homes, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook healthy meals for residents, taking into account individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the care home, including the kitchen and bathrooms.
- Liaise with management and staff to ensure daily chores are completed and maintenance issues are reported in a timely manner.
- Use your initiative to identify areas that require cleaning and take action to address them.
- Conduct deep cleans in the building as required or requested by management.
- Ensure the safeguarding of residents at all times, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Work in accordance with CareTech Group's vision and aims, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Cooperate with the company in complying with Health and Safety requirements and report any unsafe practices or conditions.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, if required.
