Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at Hays Accountancy and Finance. This role will involve working closely with the Corporate Service directorate, particularly in the Digital Services area, to provide financial support and guidance. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for managing two Management Accountants, preparing monthly reports, and providing analysis and insight that links financial reports to business strategies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Embed quickly into the corporate services directorate as a finance business partner, meeting stakeholders, particularly in the digital area
  • Understand what the business drivers are and collaborate on setting budgets for 25/26 and assist in both Interim and Year end Audits
  • Prepare monthly reports, provide analysis and insight that links financial reports to business strategies
  • Manage two Management Accountants
  • Get involved with preparation for the interim audit and year-end audit

Requirements
  • Full professional qualification in accountancy UK CCAB or CIMA* with current membership of a professional body
  • Experience of effective relationships and stakeholder management skills with the ability to persuade, influence and motivate others to engage actively in good financial management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to describe complex technical issues in a clear non-technical way, including through report writing and presentation skills
  • Experience of budget setting in a time-pressured environment using a variety of tools and knowledge and business intelligence
  • Sound problem-solving skills
  • Robust analytical and interpretative skills
  • The ability to quickly assimilate and apply new techniques and knowledge

PAYMENT TERMS
The salary for this position is £525 per day via Umbrella or PAYE (inside IR35 role)
