EHS Policy Coordinator

We are a leading organization seeking an EHS Policy Coordinator to join our team. As an EHS Policy Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing and implementing effective environmental management systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain company-wide environmental policies and procedures, including the creation and maintenance of accurate documentation in environmental management systems.
  • Support the execution of regulatory reporting and liaison activities, collaborating with regulatory agencies to ensure timely submission of reports.
  • Assist in the management of continuous emissions monitoring systems, ensuring accurate data collection and report submission.
  • Contribute to safety and health program improvements as part of the plant's OSHA VPP Star program, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with operational staff to identify and mitigate risks, reducing costs and improving overall performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Clean Air Act programs, CEMS, and quality assurance activities is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience in results-driven, strategic planning.
