We are seeking a skilled Printer and Copier Equipment Field Service Technician to join our team at DevFinders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with a variety of photocopier brands and models, as well as strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.


This role requires the ability to meticulously document all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring accurate records are maintained and regular reports are submitted to the management team. The successful candidate will excel in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating both efficiency and discretion while servicing equipment within customer offices.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical assistance with the installation of new machines, ensuring seamless integration with existing office equipment.
  2. Install printers and configure them on the network, taking care to resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  3. Monitor and replace ink cartridges and papers to minimize paper jams and reduce maintenance calls.
  4. Perform regular maintenance activities to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  5. Collaborate with the Information Technology Department to address any upgrade of antivirus and network patches to ensure security.
  6. Responsible for the timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair of office product equipment, promoting and maintaining an elevated level of customer satisfaction with our service and products.

Mandatory Skills:

  • At least 4 years of experience in printer and copier maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of basic networking and computer skills.
  • Prior experience in the maintenance and repair of printers manufactured by HP, Brother, Lexmark, Okidata, Xerox, Cannon, etc.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve, conduct written and verbal communication, read and comprehend technical information.
  • Maximize equipment uptime through timely response and effective and efficient repair with selective customer training to ensure elevated levels of customer satisfaction.
