An innovative manufacturing company in the UK is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to support their submarine programmes.


You will be responsible for functional design, providing specialized advice, generating evidence to support legislative, safety, and technical requirements, collaborating with internal and external customers within a technical team, conducting peer reviews, and articulating technical arguments in a clear and concise manner.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating and executing engineering tasks or packages of work, providing guidance and advice in a professional manner.
  • Managing budget, timescales, and quality standards, and providing leadership where required.
  • Executing, evaluating, delivering, and managing complex engineering and/or cross-functional tasks or programmes of work, recognizing stakeholder and customer requirements.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for personal and team development to ensure professional capability is maintained and improved.

Requirements:
  • A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or equivalent qualification, along with experience in an engineering background.
  • Proficiency in PLC and SCADA programming, C&I system verification test design, or parts specification would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle phases and technical specialities.
  • Working towards relevant Professional Registration.
  • Significant demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle phases and technical specialities, with the ability to obtain relevant Professional Registration (CEng).
