Electrical Engineer - Senior/Principal

We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers at Senior and Principal level to join our team in supporting ongoing Submarines Programmes.

As a Senior Engineer:

  • Coordinate and execute engineering tasks or packages of work, providing guidance and advice in a consistent professional manner.
  • Take notice of appropriate budget, timescale, and quality standards, and provide leadership where required.

As a Principal Engineer:

  • Execute, evaluate, deliver, and manage complex engineering and/or cross-functional tasks or programmes of work, recognizing stakeholder and customer requirements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for personal/team development to ensure that professional capability of the business and individual are maintained and improved.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent qualification, along with experience in an Engineering background.
  • Proficiency in PLC and SCADA programming, C&I system verification test design, or parts specification would be advantageous.

This is a hybrid position where you will be required to travel to site twice fortnightly.
