Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Crew Clothing Head Office is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to our warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our 3rd party freight partner to manage supplier movements efficiently and effectively.
  • Liaise with suppliers and our 3PL to ensure timely despatches and deliveries to our warehouses.
  • Optimize costs such as demurrage, storage, and Customs charges.
  • Work closely with our 3rd party Warehouse Team to plan weekly intake, manage changes, and navigate weekly peaks.
  • Utilize the 3rd party freight forwarders tracking system to ensure clarity and visibility around Purchase Orders and Inbound freight throughout the business.
  • Identify and address potential late delivery/payment issues and involve relevant parties as early as possible.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including Finance, Buying & Merchandising, Wholesale, and Subprime, to confirm dates, costs, etc.
  • Maintain the Crew Logistics Supplier Manual and ensure standards on inbound freight are upheld.
  • Flag any supplier non-compliance with Merchandising and ensure corrective action is taken.
  • Ensure AX is accurate and up-to-date with the 3rd party logistics tracking system.
  • Review shipping documents and rectify any errors.
  • Verify Customs Clearance to ensure the 3rd party freight partner is clearing correctly.
  • Investigate stock missing on intake at the warehouse, report to Buying and Head of Logistics, and raise Debit Notes for missing stock where necessary.
  • Verify freight invoices for payment.
  • Generate the weekly Supply Chain Report.
  • Report intake value, duty, and VAT by week.
  • Benchmark freight rates against Crew's 3rd Party Freight partner every 6 months.
  • Report weekly and monthly performance.
  • Manage Supplier Compliance Reporting and communicate to suppliers, and communicate penalties to suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a small team.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a supply chain role, particularly with freight forwarders.
  • Retail background.
  • Experience with an ERP (Microsoft AX would be an advantage).
  • MS Office (Excel in particular).
  • Basic understanding of Customs & Excise.
