Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating consent applications and assisting in the pre-application consultation process
  • Conducting site inspections, recording and reporting findings
  • Monitoring and assessing KPIs, targets, objectives, audit findings, complaints, incidents, waste management, carbon and energy, and near misses using Excel
  • Performing risk assessments to identify, record, communicate and address environmental risks
  • Participating in environmental investigations and seeking out best practices to implement

This is an excellent opportunity for career progression and promotion for an ambitious individual with experience working in the rail, engineering, utilities or construction sectors.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental qualifications, Network Rail knowledge and experience, and excellent communication skills.

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 per annum.
