About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Railway Systems Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our transportation division, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for complex railway systems projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical or electronic engineering and be able to apply this knowledge to solve real-world problems. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop innovative solutions for complex railway systems projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of design engineers and other project team members.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:
  • BSc or MSc in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. electrical, electronic).
  • Relevant experience in railway systems engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits including pension scheme, private healthcare, and flexible working arrangements.
