About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Arborist Specialist to join our team at SSE Enterprise. As a key member of our forestry operations team, you will be responsible for managing trees and vegetation near our distribution network.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and preparing tree cutting works on various sites
  • Leading a team of utility arborists to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective forestry strategies

Requirements:

  • Experience leading a team and managing forestry operations
  • Relevant qualifications, including NPTC certificate units for chainsaw use and NPTC UA
  • Enthusiasm for safety and a flexible approach to work
