Care Support Worker Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Roborough House, part of The CareTech Group. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support clients with their daily activities, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other staff members.

Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and its application in care settings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
