Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and repair security and fire alarm systems to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their system requirements and provide expert recommendations and cost estimates.
  • Utilize blueprints and building plans to determine the most effective system configurations for each project.
  • Run wiring and circuits, install hardware, and connect electrical wires with precision and attention to detail.
  • Inspect and test systems, batteries, and electrical wiring, making adjustments and repairs as needed.
  • Replace malfunctioning hardware to maintain system integrity.
  • Ensure all systems comply with electrical and fire codes, guaranteeing a safe and secure environment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining and demonstrating system functionality to end-users.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of security and fire alarm systems, including installation and maintenance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex system issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret installation and system manuals, as well as blueprints and building plans.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical and fire codes, ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools to install hardware and equipment.
