We are thrilled to present a unique opportunity for a Lead Clinician in Primary Care to become one of the inaugural members of our healthcare team at a newly established correctional facility.

This facility will accommodate a significant number of individuals who will engage in skill development programs aimed at enhancing their employability upon release, contributing to the national initiative to reduce recidivism.

Compensation

This is a full-time position with a competitive annual salary range based on experience.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must possess the legal right to work in the UK. Due to the nature of this position, employment offers will be contingent upon additional vetting and security assessments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Clinician, your duties will encompass:

  • Overseeing the daily clinical and operational management of the primary care team within an integrated healthcare framework, while contributing to the strategic vision of the service.
  • Guiding your team in conducting thorough assessments, effectively communicating treatment options, and developing supportive care plans in collaboration with individuals and the broader multidisciplinary team.
  • Leading or participating in clinical and consumer audits.
  • Reporting to the Head of Healthcare to ensure that service management aligns with contractual obligations.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Registered adult nurse with valid professional registration
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Experience in correctional healthcare is preferred but not mandatory
