We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse practitioner to join our team in providing specialist nursing care to individuals with epilepsy and learning disabilities. As a key member of our Adult Community Learning Disability Team, you will work closely with our Epilepsy Specialist Nurse to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in epilepsy care and a passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities. You will be responsible for providing expert clinical and professional guidance to our patients, their families, and support networks, as well as contributing to the development of our epilepsy service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist nursing care to individuals with epilepsy and learning disabilities in community settings
  • Contribute to the development of our epilepsy service and provide expert clinical and professional guidance to our patients and their families
  • Work closely with our Epilepsy Specialist Nurse to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our patients, their families, and support networks

Requirements:

  • Current professional registration with the NMC
  • Relevant diploma or equivalent experience
  • Non-Medical Prescribing qualification or willingness to undertake
  • Recognised current teaching qualification or willingness to work towards
