About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as the Head of Manufacturing and Operations at BuffaloGrid. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our manufacturing operations, ensuring we meet customer demands and drive innovation efficiently and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and long-term development support to the manufacturing and operations team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Manufacturing Excellence: Nurture and develop our agile approach to manufacturing, enabling BuffaloGrid to evolve and scale rapidly while improving performance and resilience of our mass production processes.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and develop long-term relationships with suppliers and solution providers, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable manufacturing operations.
  • Product Delivery: Lead the execution of product delivery, including batch production in larger order quantities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers.
  • Logistics Strategy: Develop and implement a logistics strategy, managing relationships with logistics providers to ensure seamless delivery of inbound materials and outbound products.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the implementation and management of quality assurance and safety guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in our manufacturing operations.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership, with experience in managing high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Manufacturing Expertise: Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including lean manufacturing and project management.
  • Supply Chain Management: Experience in end-to-end supply chain management, with a focus on supplier management and logistics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex engineering issues and decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to the Far East to oversee the execution of batch production.
What We Offer
