We are a dedicated team of professionals committed to delivering top-quality automotive repair services. Our state-of-the-art bodyshop in Milton Keynes is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team.

About the Job

As an MET Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are repaired to the highest standards. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components of various vehicle makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all necessary mechanical and body work on allocated jobs.
  • Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop.
  • Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
  • Ordering replacement parts.
  • Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
  • Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with the wider team regarding the status of repairs.

About You

We are looking for an experienced MET Technician with significant experience working on a range of vehicle types, including electric and hybrid. You will have high attention to detail and the ability to work skilfully and safely under pressure. You will be able to plan your workload efficiently and effectively, complete your work in line with manufacturers' specifications, and work as part of the team or on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
