We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Technician to join our dynamic team at our new site in Milton Keynes.
About the Role
As a Multiskilled Technician at Steer Automotive Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that damaged vehicles are repaired and restored to their pre-accident condition, adhering to BSI PAS 10125 and manufacturer's standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Repairing and replacing body components on damaged vehicles.
- Assessing the best methods for conducting repairs and using specialist body repair equipment.
- Supporting in panel, MET, and paint work as required.
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures and guidelines are adhered to at all times.
- Providing cover in each department during times of absence.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Proven experience as a multiskilled technician across all disciplines of automotive accident repair, including panel, MET and paint work.
- Experience and training in working on electric and hybrid vehicles.
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to working to high standards.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to support various departments as needed.
- Ideal NVQ qualifications, which we will be happy to support in renewing.
