Logistics Engineer

Morson Talent is seeking a skilled Logistics Engineer to work with a leading aerospace manufacturer. The role is based at RAF Brize Norton and offers a competitive hourly rate of £75/hour PAYE or a hybrid arrangement with 60% onsite work.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage Requests for Quotes (RFQs) in compliance with relevant HMG codes and purchasing policies.
Handle procurement tasks, including preparing orders for consumables, expendables, and other goods using SAP and MySupply.
Generate procurement KPIs and reports, and manage internal records for purchase requisitions and orders.
Support the management of supplier performance, focusing on quality and timely delivery.
Assist in budgetary control and quarterly procurement planning.
Optimize stock levels and release consumable orders based on analysis of demand and lead times.
Support procurement procedures updates and lead weekly orderbook meetings with suppliers.
Requirements:
3+ years' experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
