Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in procurement management, with a proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives within manufacturing environments.

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at ACS Business Performance Ltd. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will play a crucial role in identifying and implementing opportunities to reduce costs while ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

  • Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Manage the purchasing process to ensure accurate inventory levels, minimizing stock obsolescence and reducing waste.
  • Leverage negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers, driving cost savings and improving product quality.
  • Maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and logistics, to ensure seamless collaboration and optimal business outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving significant cost reductions through procurement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
